 
During the months of August and September, any new *joining* members will receive a double starter pack, including 6 cards from a choice deck and 12 random cards.
Any *referring* members will get 9 cards added on to their card total for when I start replacing cards.

Good news, everybody! Windy and PrincessShaman have volunteered to take over as co-owners. I'm going to email them all the FTP info and other assorted files ASAP, and then hand them the key to the city! Hope this works out!

Right.... I've got a few more decks from my card makers, but progress is at a snail's pace. I'm seriously just sick of waiting and keeping you guys waiting. I'm not motivated. Everything I do for Aesthetic is done half-heartedly or grudgingly. It's just not worth it for me right now.
So, I want to either close Aesthetic, or hand it over to someone else. This person needs to be motivated and willing to handle everything to do with the TCG. I'll be around to help with coding, or fill in a game update or something, but I really think I need to retire from being the owner. I just can't do it anymore.

//Other --> Bleargh. So, I did a couple of decks, but it wasn't... fun? I guess that's the word I'm looking for. I enjoy making decks that I'm interested in, and, at the moment, I guess I'm really not interested in *making* decks for Aesthetic. I'm fine updating games and coding and answering forms, I think, but I just can't bring myself to make cards.
So... Co-owner? I just really need a card-maker that I can depend on to get lots of work done quickly. I don't know if anyone's really able to do that right now, but if anyone's interested, please volunteer. You'd get paid, and you would be a co-owner, if you maintained a steady flow of decks being done. I've got 3 card makers, but they've got lives (and so does everyone else, including me, surprisingly), and I haven't really gotten that many decks lately. Fumei made a bunch all at once (which was lots of fun uploading while my internet died... TTXTT), but I still need to do almost 100 decks before we can reopen. So, volunteer if you're interested, and, if no one volunteers, I don't know what's going to happen. That's not a threat (though it sounds mildly like one), it's a fact.
Also, I need any members still interested in this TCG to comment and tell me they're alive. I kind of feel like I've left it sitting here for so long that people have probably given up on me. >_>;

I have a terribly hard time being motivated to do cards for Aesthetic. It's not the template, 'cause I already fixed it... maybe I'm hitting my mid life crisis? I'm not sure why I'm keeping Aesthetic any more. I don't want to give it up, but I find it really hard to just sit down and work on it... any suggestions?
In other news, college's started officially, but I only had 1 class on Tuesday, so it doesn't really start yet. Monday + Wednesday are hard, 'cause I have 3 or 4 classes and then I have to go straight to work. Alas... there are no hot boys to be found. A cute one opened the door on my way up to my friends' dorm, 'cause I don't live on campus and can't get into the dorms by myself, but he wasn't drool-worthy. I saw cuter guys in the used text book store on the way home today. *sniffles*
Well, I'm doomed to be boyfriend-less for another 4 years. TT^TT Oh well. See you next update...

Alright, so I've adopted another TCG, 'cause I really love it and didn't want to let it die, so I'm trying to split my time evenly between the two. I had to fix all the coding, and I have to revamp the cards too. The only difference is, Memento's got all the images I need already, so progress is probably going to be faster on that one. But Aesthetic will be moving forward! <3
College starts in a couple of days, I got my first credit card, and I'm getting a car today too, so my life is moving forward quickly. Where did my summer go? TT_TT;

Unfortunately, I'm going to be really busy getting ready to go to college and hanging out with my friends (one last time before they go away... *sniffles*) Then again, half my friends are going to local colleges, but still....

Hi, people! Things are going slow but steady, I'd say. Most everything is done. I've only got a couple of things left with the games. The cards are the biggest issue right now. I've only got 12 decks. >_>;;;
//Cards --> Things will move much faster if I already have the images. Please, please, please donate. Please? There are tons of characters and series you can donate to. Even one or two will help a lot! I don't have that much time, 'cause I'm getting ready to go back to school. So, please? Donation limits are off, so you can donate as much as you want. (Master badges are donate-able now too...) *puppy dog eyes* ... I need at least 150 decks to reopen, I think. Otherwise, Fumei and I'll have mastered the TCG without doing anything... >_>;;;;

Okay, guys. I've come to a decision.
I don't like Aesthetic the way it is now.
I was trying to re-excite myself with the new games and the Anniversary Bash, but it didn't work. I'm bored with my own TCG. So, I'm going to try to revitalize Aesthetic! That's right, we're not closing! But, there are going to be some major changes, starting with...
-->Cards: The current template has a few problems with it that I can't get over.
1) It's hard to use. I have to spend at least 10 or 20 minutes per deck, just to make it. Fumei's great with making the cards, but I hate to rely only on her.
2) The colors. The colors are hard to see, and the current cards are often too dark to read or even tell what color it is. There's also a disproportionate number in each category (I think Green is the one in the lead right now...)
3) The size. It's really hard to fit images to it, with the current size. That's part of the reason why I'm usually really slow making decks. When you guys donate images, pictures that should work with most templates don't work with ours. It's really annoying. It's not your guys' fault at all tho.
So, here's what's going to happen. I've already requested a template from Rahenna. It's #28 from her page. You can see it here:

I think this template will be much easier to use, and it's pretty too. I'm also going to use a standard set of colors. There's only going to be one shade of green, blue, etc. from now on. No more in-betweens and hard-to-reads.
I also want to cut the number of cards to 15. It makes it easier to put secondary characters into decks. Lots of characters that I decided not to make decks for, I couldn't make decks because of the number of images available.
-->Characters: There's a lot of characters in the decks now and on the upcoming list that I have no idea about. I'm totally clueless. I feel bad for never using the series in the games, and generally ignore the ones that I don't know. I'm either going to have a lot of reading to do (unlikely), or we're going to have to cut back on decks/series that I don't know about. Don't freak though! I'm going to find some way to make the transition easier... somehow...
-->Series Decks: I'm going to try to make series decks. These will have 10-15 images, and probably be rarer than character decks. They'll only feature male characters, though, so the Bishounen idea isn't disappearing.
-->Rewards: I'm going to admit that the rewards right now are ridiculously small. 6 cards in a starter deck for a TCG with 3000+ cards is just stupid. 3 cards for a mastery is ludicrous. So, I'm going to revise how many cards are given out for achievements and stuff.

Just to reassure you guys, this isn't your fault. If anything, it's mine, for letting things get this far while I was unsatisfied with the way things were. But1 I hope this will be a good thing! Happy, happy, happy! Reading this over, it kind of sounds like a death sentence! It's not meant to be that way at all! It's just (and I do quote Obama, lol) a time for change! And change is a good thing (not that I'm affiliating myself with or necessarily supporting Obama. I just thought the quote worked).
